Lunch at The Outbuildings

Open throughout the year, come and meet up with friends or family to enjoy a light lunch on weekdays and Saturdays, or for a traditional roast lunch on Sunday.  Relax by the fire in winter or sit out on the patio in summer and admire the view!

Lunch is served from 12-3pm

Venison Calzone
The Outbuildings' version of famous Italian calzone £9.50

marinated and served in tarragon and dill crème fraiche sauce £8.00

Fillet of hake
in a parcel with vegetables, parsley oil and combava £11.50

Sunday Lunch

Lunch on Sundays is always a very special occasion, Enjoy a traditional roast lunch complete with great fayre and log fires. At the heart of it, we always have cuts of prime local meats carefully selected by our artisan butcher in Valley. For parties of six guests and over, we can suggest a “host your own” formula - we cook the joint that you have chosen to perfection and bring all to the table for you to carve and share! 

You may select a few of our “pre lunch morsels” (our version of tapas) to whet your appetite without spoiling it…

The Main Event
We alternate the meats between topside of Beef, leg of Lamb or loin of free range Pork, all of it local of course. Served with duck fat roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, carrots, greens and lashings of bone marrow & onion gravy.
